I feel I knew most of this (have been on the 'net since before Compuserve) but it was great seeing it spelled out so clearly. Well done! Weird piece of confluence, I used to debate "comics humor" with Sol Brodsky when he stayed at my dad's bungalow colony in the lower Catskills a hundred years ago (we were all from Brooklyn.) We shared a mutual admiration for the work of Sheldon Meyer, and fairly soon (I hope) I will, at 63 years of age, make my debut in that genre. Life is strange.
